Understand something, I DO NOT COMMENT. At least, for nearly 10 year I did not. Today that changes.
Today you have, in fact done something so gorgeous, so irrationally nostalgic and utterly perfect for its own medium that I am, OBLIGED to let you know-
These are some of the best actual bits of art I have seen. They are not superior in craft to the giants and professionals that permeate DA, they are not original even, they are however, completely accurate and dare I say it loyal to the spirit of these stories.
I once tried to explain, in 1997, before I had the tools to explain, that most games are the strange recombinant mix of Story, art, music, literature, tactics and virtual search for development that would gather no respect, no reward and it would be years before games would be considered worthy of anything.

These. These ARE worthy, the covers remind me of Yevgeny Zamyatins old novel WE, or some of the stylized 1984 covers, or any of the other classics that have been given pulp treatment affectionately.
What you have done here is both tributary and compellingly simple, that is why it works. It work. IF whatever art is supposed to achieve is a function of the machine of creativity, then you have produced in me- whatever that machine was engineered to bring about. I have no name for it so I can only state it as this.

God damn sir, son, madam, lady, miss, missus, guy, buddy, mate whatever -

You have a talent and the talent does not do your ability justice.

These are fucking amazing. Thank you for doing them and giving me something to pause and consider, this night in September, 7 years after this game changed my worldview and possibly my life.

There is nothing I would change here, there are no failures to fairly criticize.  I remember an advert years ago that said, "It is to a human what headlights are to a deer." I feel it has taken until now for me to really understand the impact of that, and it was these simple but gorgeous renderings that made me remember.

So thank you.
